Frequently Asked Questions

Heart failure occurs when the heart cannot pump blood efficiently. Treatment includes medications to strengthen the heart, reduce fluid buildup, control blood pressure, and lifestyle modifications. Advanced cases may require device therapy or specialized interventions.

Angioplasty with stent placement is recommended when coronary arteries are significantly blocked, causing chest pain, heart attack, or abnormal stress test results. The procedure opens narrowed arteries, restoring blood flow to heart muscle and preventing future cardiac events.

Please bring all previous medical records, current medications list, recent test results (ECG, echo, blood work), insurance cards, and a list of questions or symptoms you're experiencing. Fasting may be required for certain tests.

After cardiac procedures, follow a heart-healthy diet low in sodium and saturated fats. Gradually resume activity as advised—usually light walking within days, returning to normal activities in 1-2 weeks. Attend all follow-up appointments and take medications as prescribed.
